Adidas Does Denim With Semi-Clothed Hotties

Adidas Originals have expanded their once niche-y sportswear repertoire to include a denim range, operating logically under the name ‘Blue’. The Originals label, distinguishable from their plain old parent label Adidas by its retention of the erm, original logo, welcomes the first ever denim collection executed by any division of the brand. A risky move, perhaps? With plans to herein maintain denim as an integral facet of the brand, the debut AO Blue collection rests on a backbone of classicism and continuity, intending to “carry over successful and familiar fits from season to season” and limiting the collection to 2 styles and 8 washes per gender.

You can check out the styles below, in the campaign pics which promote skin-on-skin but thankfully/unfortunately no denim appropriations of the classic Adidas snap pants or anything remotely resembling tear-away jeans. Once you look past the awkwardness of the shoot, you’ll notice that the styles are a bit slouchier and more ass-accentuating compared to the low-slung, painted-on jean trend of the past decade. This is a good thing, no?

They hit stores next week.
