A QLD Woman Is Enduring 75 Solid Hrs Of ‘Rolling In The Deep’ For Adele Tix

How much do you love Adele? A bunch? Not very much? Who is Adele? Whatever you answered, you do not love Adele as much as Evonne from the Sunshine Coast, who is listening to 75 hours of ‘Rolling In The Deep‘ to win tickets to see Adele perform in Brisbane.
In what is surely a form of torture explicitly declared an international war crime in the Geneva Convention, Evonne will spend from 4am until 7pm (yes, you read that correctly) Monday to Friday this week listening to Adele’s iconic hit over and over and over and over again until either the tickets are hers or she has some sort of Adele-induced aneurysm.
The rules are pretty straightforward: Evonne sits in a room for 15 hours a day with no access to her phone, unable to leave unless it is to use the bathroom, she’s not allowed to sleep, and she has to listen to the song 1500 times.
The competition (which is between Evonne and encroaching madness) is being run by Sunshine Coast‘s 92.7 MixFm, who are livestreaming every moment that Evonne spends inside the torture cube studio.
When I had a look last, she was very wholesomely doing a jigsaw puzzle, which I’m sure will help stave off the crushing boredom that is sure to indelibly stain her psyche.
If, somehow, Evonne finishes this ridiculous challenge and, on top of that, can somehow stomach the thought of listening to Adele anymore, we wish her nothing short of the night of her life.
