A Group Of ISIS Fighters Were Mauled To Death By A Pack Of Angry Wild Boars

Turns out all this to-and-fro about how best to approach ISIS, the problems of entering another protracted ground war in the Middle East and the problem of radicalisation was all for naught. The problem just solves itself.

A herd of wild boars has mauled three Islamic State militants to death and injured five others in Iraq while the group were trying to set up an ambush, according to Iraqi locals.
ISIS fighters in the Kirkuk area – which is largely farmland and has been held by the group since 2014 – had reportedly been attempting to remove the animals before the attack, according to a local sheikh.
Iraqi News reports that “Islamic State militants took revenge at the pigs that attacked the farmland” though it’s not clear precisely what they did.
There you go. The non-military solution to the ISIS boondoggle is just to deploy a whole bunch of feral pigs to run wild in occupied territory. Put me in charge of the pig army, I’ll do it.
