A Balenciaga Employee Fucked Up Real Hard, Advertised $2000 Bags For $200

Balenciaga totally forgot that their standard price point for one of their bags is around $2000, and accidentally advertised all their bags minus one zero.

That’s correct, brand new Balenciaga bags were advertised for $200 or less. Insanity.

Because fashion people are crazy, everyone went nuts, and the site was taken down after 45 minutes. The #fashion community on Twitter went totally batshit, as if $200 Balenciaga bags are a standard civil right listed by the Human Rights Commission.

Did you miss out on this bargain?

Apparently customers that managed to nab a $200 Balenciaga had their orders cancelled shortly after.

So all in all, nobody won the battle, but there was many casualties, including:

– you because you missed out on a hella cheap iconic Giant bag,
– Balenciaga’s PR team,
– fashion crazies with Twitter accounts making damn fools of themselves when their orders were cancelled, and
– whichever Balenciaga employee whose job it was to list the online store items. May God have mercy on their soul and employment status.
