A Couple Of WWE Champs Passed Around A Footy At The MCG Today

Just one week ago, we found out WWE would finally head back to Melbourne to host one helluva massive stadium show by the name of Super Show-Down. Here, in Melbourne, to remind us that tickets go on sale in just four days are champs AJ Styles and Carmella.

The WWE Champion and Smackdown Women’s Champion partook in some classic Aussie initiation of AFL just hours before the Pies and Blues took to the field.

Styles and Carmella will be joined by a whole bunch of A-Listers and legends come Saturday, 6 October – one week after the AFL Grand Final.

“You have all of your favourite superstars, legends are going to be here, you have Ronda Rousey, the Big Show, Shawn Michaels, Triple H versus The Undertaker for the last time ever,” Carmella said.

Styles joined in saying, “Knowing that we’re going to fill this place out and knowing how loud it’s going to be here, it’s pretty unbelievable.”

Over 70,000 people are expected to fill the ‘G.

The champ then proceeded to put on a Pies’ guernsey but struggled because well, the dude’s ripped.

If you’re keen to treat yourself, then packages are also available – $3,568 for the ultimate VIP experience including personal photo opportunities, group Q&A sessions, autographs, complimentary fooooooood, and a heap more.

As for the full and current line-up, we have John Cena, Ronda Rousey, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Nia Jax, Shane McMahon, AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, and Aussie tag team duo Billie Kay and Peyton Royce of The IIconics.

And yes, we can’t forget about The Undertaker’s final match-up against Triple H.

If you can’t make it to the event then you can still stream the night live on the WWE Network or catch it on pay-per view.

The last time the WWE had a stadium show in Melbourne was 2002 for Global Warning at Etihad Stadium.
