Clearly it’s a case of the bigger they are the harder they fall – obviously not physical height in Manny’s case – with the boxing legend becoming the butt of many an internet gag after his vicious 6th round knock-out against long time rival Juan Manuel Marquez. If copping shit from internet geeks and Justin Bieberwasn’t bad enough, Pacquiao has been made a laughing stock within the WWE.

In a surprising twist, outspoken foe Floyd Mayweather has chosen not to stick the boot in, instead offering Pacquiao the best for the future. If my understanding of the word is correct, this too could be linked to a song about irony.
