Yesterday’s WrestleMania 31 event – the annual and biggest event on the WWE‘s calendar – turned what was generally agreed upon to be a fairly lacklustre build-up into one of the greatest events in the company’s history.
An incredible main event title match that had stellar booking, a wild and balls-out fun spectacle between two all-time greats, a crazy ladder match filled with the company’s best talent, and a Bulgarian Russian behemoth rolling into the arena like he was Stalin carrying the US Declaration of Independence into Red Square. There was barely an off note for the entire evening.
In amongst all the chaos of that, on-screen (and real life) company executives Triple H and Stephanie McMahon appeared to gloat to the 79,000-odd crowd at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California about their own successes, only to be interrupted by the walking mound of cut muscle known as The Rock.
But after Stephanie slapped The Rock and goaded him, “What are you gonna do, hit a woman?” he found someone willing to – UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion and devout wrestling fan Ronda Rousey.
For those that didn’t see it – and for those that did and want to relive it en masse – let’s now all enjoy this GIF of Rousey hip tossing Triple H out of his boots. On a loop. For hours.
Again, that’s RONDA FUCKING ROUSEY HIP TOSSING TRIPLE FUCKING H.
Hell, the moment went over so well that even UFC boss Dana White had to (at the very least pretend to) give it its due.

But the best part? This might not even be the last time we see Rousey in a WWE ring.
The undefeated MMA phenom (and wrestling nerd, and huge Pokemon fan, and possibly the coolest, most magnificent dork walking the planet right now) and The Great One have been teasing that this isn’t even close to the end on social media all morning.
The night: Historic.
