You’ve gotta be at least part sadist if you’re a diehard fan of the NFL‘s much beleaguered Cleveland Browns.
The Browns, long-suffering as they are, can barely even buy themselves a break – even when they’re seemingly on the verge of a triumph.
They’re the Murphy’s Law of football teams – anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
Case in point: This utterly BONKERS finish to today’s vitally important Monday Night Football clash against divisional rivals the Baltimore Ravens.
With scores tied, the ball firmly in Cleveland’s possession, and a mere 3 seconds remaining on the clock, a long-ish – but straightforward – field goal kick was all that stood between the Browns and the W.
And then this RIDICULOUS BULLSHIT happened.
You’ve now seen it all:
@Ravens walk-off blocked field goal returned for a TD…FOR THE WIN! #BALvsCLE https://t.co/3yS0IAOupN

The blocked field goal attempt is bad enough, but to have Will Hill return it the length of the field for the walk-off touchdown is so typically Cleveland it might as well have just gotten laid off from its job at the port.
Cleveland fans in the stadium? Yeah, they didn’t take it terribly well.
