WATCH: Aussie Cliff Diver Wins World Series W/ Insane 20m Stomach-Flipper

Ain’t no way, ain’t no how, we’d jump off a podium into rock-infested waters – but then guess that’s why we’re not amongst the brave souls who competed at Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in the v. breathtaking Blue Lagoon in Pembrokeshire, Wales over the weekend.
Aussie Rhiannan Iffland did us proud by topping the women’s podium a day after her 25th birthday, continuing her ripper debut season with three A+ dives from 20m to secure a comfy win over Canadian Lysanne Richard.
The Gold Coast rookie was understandably stoked with her performance.

“Every single time I surprise myself, to be honest,” she said. “I usually arrive at a location thinking maybe I won’t do so well, but once I’m actually up there and feel it and I know I’m here for the enjoyment.”

The event was completely sold out, with more than 2,300 punters watching the death-defying leaps go down in less-than-ideal weather conditions.
The championships now move onto Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where 22 of the world’s most insane best cliff divers leap from the Stari Most bridge to finish off the season.
