Usain Bolt Wins Another Gold Medal, Is Hilarious in GIF Form

Self-annointed living legend (“that’s for sure”) Usain Bolt has one-upped himself after running a typically incredible anchor leg to help Jamaica both set a world record and win the 400m relay, and has proven to be equally as hilarious in GIF form after pulling some classic psyche out moves on track and field officials.

First, the business end: Nesta Carter, Michael Frater, Yohan Blake and Bolt broke their own men’s 4x100m world record of 37.04 from last year’s world championship with a time of 36.84 to take Jamaica’s second consecutive Olympic relay title. This comes at the same time that International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge, said that Bolt is not yet a living legend. Today’s Telegraph quotes Rogge as saying “The career of Usain Bolt has to be judged when the career stops. Let him participate in three, four Games, and then he can be a legend. [For now he is] an icon.” You say ‘icon’, I say ‘legend’ – let’s call the whole thing off, Jacques!

These guys. 5000m champ Mo Farrah engaged in some adorable podium posing antics with Bolt during the medal presentation.

Bolt wanted to keep the golden baton but got into an argument with an official at the end of the race, after initially extending the baton and retracting it at the last second! Classic Bolt!

And here he is earlier just before the taking gold in the 200m sprint, fist-bumping another volunteer, who massively geeks out afterward. I’ll miss you, Olympics/Bolt GIFs.
