UFC Officially Sells For Yuge $4.2Billion, The Biggest Sale In Sports History

It’s like wrestling except they actually beat the shit out of each other and somehow their personalities are even more ridiculous (*cough* Conor McGregor *cough*): the UFC has taken MMA out of weird gyms and underground carparks and into the mainstream.
It’s also about to change hands, as was rumoured, it’s been bought for a whopping $4.2 billion by a group of investors lead by American talent agency WME/IMG.
Other members of the consortium include the world’s largest property developer, Dalian Wanda, and American sports entertainment giant, the Kraft Group.
Dana White will stay on as president but Lorenzo Fertitta will be stepping down as CEO, with the Fertitta brothers playing a much smaller role in UFC going forward.
Both parties have agreed to the deal but it won’t actually be signed for another 6 to 8 weeks.
