Ageless cyborg Tom Brady has left the New England Patriots, with NFL sources confirming the 42-year-old has signed a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, marking the first time in 20 years that Brady will play NFL football in something other than a Patriots jersey.
Brady had long been speculated to be on the way out of the Patriots, with Brady even going so far as to troll fans via a Super Bowl ad for Hulu.
This morning, however, that speculation was put to bed, with Brady announcing to fans that he was leaving the Patriots via a series of Instagram posts.
Though it was heavily speculated that Brady was being courted by the freshly relocated Las Vegas Raiders, the Tampa Bay deal was revealed on social media a short time ago.

Brady has long stated his professional goal is to play until he is 45 years old, but Patriots officials reportedly weren’t super keen on the terms put forward by Brady’s team.
Though the deal is yet to be officially confirmed by either side, it’s strongly believed the Tampa offer will be the only offer put to Brady during the free agency period, and that the contract already has in-principle agreement from both parties. Brady will reportedly receive roughly US$30 million per year under the deal.
