Snapchat Has Signed A Deal With The AFL So Expect Some Sports With Yr Nudes

Snapchat‘s parent company, Snap Inc, are deadset keen to sink their teeth into the Australian market.

They yearn for us and we for them, apparently. There are now 4 million daily Aussie users of the picture sharing app.
Now the company are keen to tap into the sports market, penning a multi-year deal with the AFL to produce content for their new Our Stories feature.
Similar to your own story, Our Stories is a global playlist of videos curated by Snapchat, except theirs probably doesn’t have your mate Marcus doing three shoeies in a row on Johno‘s roof. Fucking Marcus.
The deal is allegedly based on shared advertising revenue and will showcase fan, player and league content. Each stadium will also cop their own geofilters.
Snapchat has also held partnerships with music festivals like Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and Sterosonic
