Ryan Lochte, Olympic swimmer and noted trouble-maker, is about to become a baby daddy.
The gold medallist announced the news via Instagram, in an extremely appropriate pic for someone who’s spent the better part of two decades face down in a pool.
He was underwater.
Lochte met his fiancée, model and playmate Kayla Rae Reid, earlier this year, and according to Heavy.com, reached out to her via Instagram.
She supported him through his ‘lying about being held up at gunpoint in Rio‘ fiasco, and later on Dancing With The Stars when protesters about said fiasco rushed the stage.
“From the very first time I met her, everything has like clicked. That’s why I know I can propose to her because everything that’s happened and she’s been keeping me so positive. She doesn’t care about my fame. She doesn’t care about anything. All she cares about is me being happy.”
Reid published her own announcement on Instagram, accompanied by a shot of *both* of them underwater.
