Patty Mills Scores Three Point Buzzer Beater To Sink Russia

Let it rain! 23 year old Boomers starter and backup San Antonio Spurs point guard Patty Mills, one of the first Indigenous Australians successfully drafted into the NBA, has proved clutch yet again with a three point buzzer beater propelling the Bogut-less Boomers to victory over Russia in London this morning.

Mills had just come off a game high 39 point performance against Great Britain and is currently one of the most prolific scorers at the tournament, ergo we really hope Gregg Popovich is watching this because how long can you keep a certified national hero on the bench, bro?

While not nearly as impressive as Belinda Snell’s game-tying heave from halfcourt against France, it’s just as clutch, shiver inducing and worthy of re-watching before the IOC internet police banish it from Youtube forever.

For the win…
