Aussie tennis champ Nick Kyrgios has had his first crucial post-Wimbledon victory: monetizing that shit, via a brand endorsement from Bonds.
The 19-year-old, who upset Wimbledon in pretty spectacular fashion six weeks ago, just got announced as Bonds’ latest brand ambassador. He’ll be appearing alongside fellow Aussie tennis legend and Bonds model Pat Rafter in a new TV ad.
He told the Telegraph he was relieved to have the former champ on set with him: “It’s a really good feeling to have this opportunity and being alongside Pat makes it that much cooler.”
He said that being signed by Bonds was a compliment but there was plenty of work to do: “There’s still a massive way to go — you know, I had a great Wimbledon but there’s so many more things I want to achieve”.
