Kyrgios’s Own Brother Denied Entry To His Match, Made To Buy Ticket Like Pleb

The fallout from the Nick Kyrgios sledge heard around the world continues today, with news that the Aussie star’s brother was denied entry privileges to a match, and had to buy his own ticket like a damn dirty pleb.
Reportedly, Christos Kyrgios sought to enter Nick’s match against Richard Gasquet in the first round of the Cincinnati Masters, but was denied, and had his Association of Tennis Professionals credentials revoked.
While no reason was stated, it’s believed that the ATP feel that remarks made by Christos about Croatian player Donna Vekic – telling interviewer Dave Hughes that “she likes The Kokk” – were unacceptable.

Nick went down to Gasquet 6-2, 6-1. Had he won his match, he would have had to face off against good mate Thanasi Kokkinakis, who has advanced to the second round of the tournament.
The ATP are still weighting up what punishment Nick Kyrgios will face for his Stan Warwinka sledge, but it is likely that Christos’s credentials will be reinstated in time for the U.S. Open in a fortnight.
