Jarryd Hayne Gives Post-Match Interview To Hamish & Andy After 49ers Win

Despite his borderline worst case scenario first touch in the NFL, Jarryd Hayne managed to rebound in the San Francisco 49ers season opening clash against the Minnesota Vikings, in which the Niners ran out comfortable 20-3 winners.

An injury to backup RB Reggie Bush meant that Hayne saw time on the field as part of the offensive unit, and it was here where his game was at its most effective – picking up a couple of solid gains on plays where breakout star running back Carlos Hyde was taking momentary breathers from being an absolute beast (the Niners number one runner had 168 yards and 2 touchdowns by the time the game was done).
Speaking to Hamish & Andy on The Hit Network in his first Australian post-game radio interview, Hayne showed the typical Aussie spirit in shaking off the early error.
Things like that, it just kinda relaxes ya. You know what I mean? You just go like, ‘Shit, what worse could happen?’”

Hayne and the 49ers now travel to Pittsburgh next Sunday US time, for an afternoon clash with Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
