The US East Coast has had an awfully rotten time of it. On the back of Hurricane Sandy over 80 have died , 10 000’s of homes gave been destroyed or severely damaged and the damage bill is approaching international phone number proportions. It will be a while before most East Coast residents embrace the ‘always look on the bright side of life‘ ethos. Mother Nature can be a cruel mistress but to her yin of devastating destruction usually comes a yang, in this instance, absolutely perfect conditions surf conditions in southern Florida. It might seem trivial compared to scenes witnessed in designated disaster areas but it’s Mother Nature at her best and worst and you just have to take it where you can get it.
