Golf Legend Tiger Woods Nailed With A Drink Driving Charge In Florida

Former World Number One golfer Tiger Woods is taking some heat after being arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in Florida early Monday morning.
The 41-year-old golfing pro was reportedly picked up at around 3am, and charged around 7am, before being released at about 11am.
Details have not yet surfaced on whether the DUI was for drugs or alcohol use, or if there were any other passengers in the vehicle.
Back in 2009, he received a citation for careless driving, after crashing his car into a tree outside his home in Jupiter, Florida.
Woods was World Number One on and off between June 1997 and May 2005, before holding the position for 281 weeks straight from June 2005 to October 2010. If you do not recall this, he was essentially the symbol for Happy Gilmore‘s sport for the entirety of the schooling life of someone born in the early ’90s, which is a weird thing to think about.
Also, Woods cheated on his ex-wife heaps, and when the details of those affairs were revealed the man became embroiled in a very public media scandal, losing lucrative sponsorship deals.
His sporting form took a downswing around the time his relationship with Elin Nordegren ended in 2010.
Since his divorce, Woods has attempted to pick up his golfing career but he’s struggled with injury, including back problems which led to his most recent back surgery this April.
Poor bloke.
