Frances Abbott Hit Up Her Second Bodybuilding Competition This Weekend

After making her fitness modelling debut last month, Frances Abbott has slapped on the fake tan once again, to participate in Melbourne‘s Fitness Expo, where she walked away with a participation medal.

Frances, the daughter of former Prime Minister Tony Abbott, studied graphic design before pursuing a career as a personal trainer in Melbourne.

She explained her preparation process for yesterday’s event on on Instagram, saying:

“I haven’t worn a bra in well over 24 hours, I smell like 4 coats of tan and I am dressed like a kung-fu princess in my PJ pants I picked up from Salvos … but this hair makes me feel like Ke$ha and that’s exactly the effect I was after.”

Abbott came in last at the event, and in a later Instagram post, said she is “ready to reset, refocus and figure out what the hell the next big thing is going to be.”

In recent weeks, Frances Abbott has been vocally opposed to he dad Tony’s line on marriage equality, pushing very strongly for the ‘YES’ campaign. When her ballot paper arrived, she told her Instagram followers about her excitement to vote in favour of equality, saying:

I am so so so so so excited it’s here. Ripped the envelope open. TICKED THE YES BOX. And running straight back down stairs. Power walking to the post office and posting this baby RIGHT NOW.
