Frances Abbott Makes Her Fitness Modelling Debut At Vic Bodybuilding Titles

Frances Abbott is having a pretty wild week – the youngest daughter of former conservative Prime Minister Tony Abbott came out as a hard ‘YES’ this week in support of marriage equality, and just days after, she made her debut as a fitness model at a bodybuilding competition in Victoria.

The 26-year-old works as a personal trainer in Melbourne and runs an Instagram account called ‘Not Another Fitness Blogger‘, where she documented her weeks-long journey to the ACN State Bodybuilding Titles in Melbourne.

“This time next week it will have been done. Those weeks of training, weighing your food, staying in, posing, flexing, twisting,” she wrote her preparation for the competition, which included weighs, cardio and smashing more chicken than any person should probably ever eat.

Abbott, who told her Instagram followers that she’s “[ditched] design for deadlifts”, wore a black and diamante bikini, and although it’s understood she missed out on a place, she documented the whole (very orange) experience on her Instagram stories.

Frances Abbott’s dad has huffed and puffed strenuously for the ‘NO’ campaign but his youngest daughter is clearly not siding with the fam on that one, and earlier this week, she told her Instagram followers about receiving her ballot paper in the mail:

I am so so so so so excited it’s here. Ripped the envelope open. TICKED THE YES BOX. And running straight back down stairs. Power walking to the post office and posting this baby RIGHT NOW.
