Australia’s Entire Fourth Test First Innings Fits Inside A Single Tweet

Australia‘s first innings at the Fourth Ashes Test at Trent Bridge was an absolute disaster in every sense of the word.
The record-breaking demolition wasn’t just a poor performance, it was absolutely and utterly humiliating.
All out for 60 in a mere 93 minutes, with Stuart Broad running through the entire batting order like a hot knife through butter. A worse performance from a supposedly professional Australian cricketing side you are unlikely to see for a very, very long time (or at least until the second innings).
How unfathomably bad was the Australian’s first innings, exactly?
The entire scorecard – ball-by-ball – fits inside a single Tweet. With room to spare.

Want more? Haven’t punished yourself enough by continually re-reading that absolute abomination?

Here’s all ten wickets presented in a single, six second Vine.

In fact, on a day where there wasn’t a hole big enough for the Australian XI to crawl into and hide, the only mildly entertaining thing for Australian fans to take from the day’s play was the commentary team amusing themselves by giving a shout out to former Test captain Allan Border in the stands.

Now, the game’s still in progress and we’re technically still in the series for the moment.
But yeah. Time to start prepping to snatch that Ashes Trophy back when the Poms next visit here in 2017/18.
