Australian cricketer Moises Henriques has broken his jaw in three places and been rushed to hospital after an on-field collision with Surrey teammate Rory Burns in a county game in England.
The incident occurred during a Twenty20 match on Sunday, when the two players clashed heads while attempting to take a catch, and were knocked unconscious, with both sustaining head injuries.
There were grave concerns for their safety, with Burns reportedly immobile for several minutes. A trio of ambulances arrived, and the pair were both given oxygen and intravenous pain relief on the field.

Fortunately, reports indicate that both were conscious and sitting up before transferring to hospital, with Henriques waving to the crowd from his stretcher, and Burns reportedly giving a thumbs up.
After the two players left the field, the decision was made to abandon the match. Both remain in hospital.
