Pour one out for English tennis player Dominic Inglot’s relationship, which is almost certainly over now that his Davis Cup teammate Andy Murray has ostensibly outed him for the scrub he [allegedly] is.
When pressed for details as to how they’d be celebrating their Cup victory over the US in a post-match interview with Eurosport’s Annabel Croft, Murray today intimated that Inglot “[has] a little girlfriend on the go [in Glasgow] so he’ll maybe celebrate with her this evening.”
Inglot’s response: Ffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkk.
Inglot – who the Telegraph reports has been dating someone for six months – has since clarified the situation on Twitter, playing the “banter” card and asserting that there is, in fact, no side bae.
For Murray’s part, he has since retweeted a cryptic ‘Banksy’ quote about our culture accepting lies about peoples’ lifestyles [polyamory?].
Either way, nobody wins.
