Aussie basketballer Andrew Bogut will leave the NBA – which has been his home since he was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks all the way back in 2005 – and join the Sydney Kings.
The Kings teased the announcement, which will come in full at 10am this morning, on social media:

The championship-winning centre has been all over the NBA since his debut 13 years ago – playing for the Milwaukee Bucks, the Golden State Warriors, the Dallas Mavericks, the Cleveland Cavaliers and, most recently, the Los Angeles Lakers.
Though he signed with the Lakers at the end of the last year, his contract was waived early this year, which may or may not have something to do with why he’s jumping ship from the US and returning home for the NBL.
This could be just the juice the Kings need. The Sydney team hasn’t been doing well for a long time, having failed to make the finals over the past five years. Their last taste of victory was their three-year winning streak from 2003 – 2005.
Seems Bogut already has plans, too.
