Alan Jones Accuses Adam Goodes Of “Playing The Victim” On ‘Sunrise’

We’ve reached the point in the Adam Goodes booing saga when Alan Jones should be chiming in to offer some kind of brainless and/or deeply insensitive commentary on the matter and … oh good, here he bloody well comes, right on schedule.
Earlier today, it was reported that Goodes is considering stepping down from the AFL, rather than completing his final season with the Sydney Swansbecause the booing that greets him at away games has far exceeded chill levels of banter.
This morning, Jones was asked his opinion during an appearance on Seven’s Sunrise, and let loose on Goodes, accusing him of “playing the victim” and telling him he needs to “change his behaviour” if he wants crowds to stop booing him.
As examples of Goodes’ “behaviour”, Jones mentioned the time in 2013 when he raised an objection after he heard a crowd member yelling out a racist taunt, and the time, in May of this year, when he performed a war dance during the AFL’s indigenous round.
Soooo … what exactly is Goodes meant to change? In Sunday’s Swans vs West Coast match, his only “behaviour” was playing football, and yet he was still booed by a hostile crowd, and told to “go back to the zoo” by one patron.
Watch Jones tie himself in knots below, and for bonus points, clock the ‘u fuckin wot m8?’ expressions on Sam and Kochie‘s faces:

Koch maintained that the slur that got a crowd member tossed out of Sunday’s West Coast game was racist, saying “He wouldn’t say that to a white man. He wouldn’t say to a white guy get back to the zoo.”
Goodes missed training with the Swans yesterday, as the team have given him time off to deal with the attention that currently surrounds him, and the abuse he is currently receiving from certain sections of the AFL crowd.
His future in the sport remains unclear.
