AFL Continue To Kick Goals On Shamed NRL

In the wake of James Graham’s 12-week biting suspension and all the bad press that comes with hurling distasteful insults at female journos, the AFL has further consolidated their position in Sydney as the city rolled out the carpet for the victorious Sydney Swans. The city wide love-in saw thousands pack the CBD as the motorcade of Swans wound its way up from the Rocks and along George street. On the steps of Town hall, premier Barry O’Farrell presented the Swans with the keys to the NRL-centric city. There has been a distinct lack of grubbiness in the wake of the AFL grand final from either team. If we are to believe that Sydney is the battle ground for the fight between NRL and the AFL, the AFL has won this bout by knock out.
