Behold Dinky One, the new dating app designed for those with a small penis and for those who love ’em. The app’s membership tally is rapidly growing, boasting around 28,000 members.
“Media and the internet are putting ever increasing pressure on men to measure up to certain standards, be it body image or penis size. Body image is generally within your control but penis size is not, unless you undergo surgery,” their website reads.
A lot of this anxiety about size directly correlates to the kinds of dicks we say in porn, Dinky One’s founder David Minns argues. “The adult entertainment industry only casts males with well over average-sized penises,” Minns tells Pink News. “In addition, adverts on major porn sites advertise dubious products to increase penis size.”
With this in mind, Dinky One sets out to connect those who are self-conscious about their size with those who prefers smaller packages.
According to the app, 71% of current users are male, 27% are 27% female and 2% trans. Importantly, you can choose from 24 gender identities.
“Don’t forget that the average size means that 50% of the males in the word are bigger and 50% are smaller,” the site argues. “Therefore, 50% of people who are in a relationship have a smaller than average size penis. This means that a smaller penis is not a barrier to dating or having a relationship.”
