Mischa Barton is dating someone new and, sadly, it’s not Ben McKenzie.
The dude who Marissa Cooper was spotted canoodling with at the Cannes Film Festival back in May has been identified as a model from Toorak in Melbourne, whose family is extremely loaded.
His name’s James Abercrombie, son of millionaire businessman and former VIC Liberal Party treasurer Andrew Abercrombie, whose net worth was reported as $574m on this year’s AFR Rich List.
They apparently met at a party in LA last month, hit it off and later travelled to Monaco together to hang out of superyachts, as ya do.
Here’s their first #coupleshot, which did appear on his Instagram until he set it to private earlier today.
Clearly frothing on the association of his client to a Hollywood star, Abercrombie’s modelling agent Stephen Bucknall told Confidential:
“It’s all official. Romance is blooming and they are dating. The boy from Toorak is dating the bad girl from LA.”
Just this week, Barton won a permanent restraining order against her ex Jon Zacharias, a skeeze who’s allegedly been shopping around a sex tape that was filmed without her knowledge.
They reached a private settlement, under which he agreed not to distribute any of the images and turn over any footage he did have.
Fingers crossed this Abercrombie’s less of a fkn lemon.
