Halsey & Yungblud’s Surprise New Tune Is All You Need This Valentine’s Day

PALS, dreams do come true because total angels (and rumoured lovebirds) Halsey and Yungblud have a new song out together. It’s called ’11 Minutes’ and *checks notes*, yep, it’s a total tune.

The collaboration also features Blink-182‘s drummer Travis Barker.

Is this the best Valentine’s Day gift ever? Yes, yes it is.

This is the first time Halsey and Yungblud have collaborated together and hopefully not the last.

“The song tells the story of a perfect tragedy that reflects modern love within our society,” Yungblud said in a statement about the song. ” “We are so distracted and focused on what’s next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us. We don’t realise how much we need something until it’s taken away from us.”

The release comes just hours after Halsey and Yungblud were being all sneaky-sneaky on the ol’ socials. First came the dual announcement of the song, a countdown, and news of a bloody surprise pop-up store/meet and greet in Sydney.

You can listen to the duet below.

According to the socials, the surprise pop-up store was filled with merch and – if the comments on Halsey’s Instagram are true – the first 150 people gathered outside Sydney’s The Commune scored free tickets to the meet and greet.

On Twitter, Halsey celebrated the news writing: “can’t believe there’s a new song out RIGHT NOW and I’m about to do a free surprise meet & greet in a country I wasn’t even supposed to be in for months. We love spontaneity.”

We bloody do.

Footage, via Ten Daily, shows a shit ton of people rocked up to The Commune and look, can’t blame them.

In conclusion:

If you’re in the mood for some more lurve, Yungblud – performing at Tassie‘s Party in the Paddock this past weekend – played host to a gorgeous couple who got engaged on stage during his set.
