Taylor Swift is a very polarising figure in this, the 2018th year of our lord and saviour, and whilst there’s a lot of good things about her, I must unfortunately inform you that her new music video is not one of them.
It’s for her song End Game, off her most recent flop of an album Reputation (not sorry) and it’s the one where both Taylor and Ed Sheeran rap AND IT IS NOT VERY GOOD NOW IS IT.
It’s Taylor at her most cringy. She’s on a yacht in Miami, she’s throwing up gang signs in Tokyo and then getting “lit” in London.
I.e. it would be a perfect pisstake of a stereotypical (read: bad) rap video, if it had any inch of self-awareness, which is definitely does not.
I miss the old Taylor…
