Shawn Mendes took to social media this morning to share the first images from his upcoming Calvin Klein underwear campaign, and I’m just going to go out on a limb and say that we were not in any way prepared to be feeling the kind of feelings we are right now.

One of the images shows the singer reclining in a chair next to a guitar and a synth, and the other shows him just casually thirst trapping in the kitchen, as one does.

“Campaign coming next week,” he wrote alongside the images, and needless to say, we are very interested, along with the rest of the internet, to see what’s coming next.
Last year, in an extensive Rolling Stone profile, Shawn Mendes gifted the world with some extraordinary wisdom on what he does when he’s feeling down. While wearing an outfit of a white tank top and jeans, he said:
“You know when you’re in a state of unhappiness when you have no reason to be unhappy? I hate that. Honestly, it sounds silly, but it’s been proven to get people out of depression. I’ll stand in front of the mirror with this outfit on, shake my head, stick my tongue out and put myself in a stadium of people that love me.”
Honestly, the next time I’m feeling down, I’m probably going to return to this Calvins campaign, just a thought.
