Maisie Williams is a sweet delicate angel who undoubtedly has a heart of gold and farts rainbows. But as we’ve seen on Game of Thrones, if you cross her then prepare to feel the rage of a thousand dragons as she promptly puts you in your place.
The 20-year-old actress recently took to Twitter to shoot down false reports that had surfaced, which quoted Maisie claiming that the show would return in April 2019.
Just a tweet letting you know this game of thrones release date “quote” I’ve supposedly given is completely false and taken from an interview I did years ago.

The confusion came after she told UK tabloid newspaper Metro posted a story, claiming the star had divulged some juicy bits of gossip regarding the new season.
“We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April [2019],” she said to the paper. “That’s a four-month turnaround for these huge episodes. There’s a lot that goes into the final edit. You would not want to rush this season at all.”
HBO are yet to comment on whether the rumours are true, but seeing as six of the show’s seven seasons have debuted in April, there’s an outside chance that it could be the case.
Until then, we’ll continue to wait what feels like a hundred million years until our next bit of action from Westeros.
