Laverne Cox has kicked so, so many goals in her comparatively short career already and is easily one of the LGBTIQ+ community’s hardest workers.
One more medal to chuck on her increasingly heavy pile of accolades and achievements is the news that the Orange is the New Black star is the first ever trans figure to grace the cover of a Cosmopolitan mag!
Sharing the news and the cover on her Instagram, Cox says she is thrilled to be fronting the Feb issue of South African Cosmo as their first ever openly trans cover girl:

Already nominated for an Emmy and recently cast as a transgender attorney on primetime CBS show Doubt (also a first!), Laverne is looking to make 2018 another bumper year.
