And today in whacky shit that’s going down in the wildly bizarre YouTube community: controversial internet personalities Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau have announced their engagement after two months of dating, according to Cosmopolitan.

Paul proposed to the TanaCon mastermind (read: con artist) over the weekend while they were in Las Vegas celebrating her 21st birthday.

The news was announced on the 21-year-old’s Instagram Story, revealing the giant diamond ring that Jake proposed with.

She captioned the vid: “I’m engaged @JakePaul.”

Suss it out below:

Because YouTube folk have been known to bullshit for attention (especially these two), Mongeau later took to Twitter to try and convince fans that she’s being legit.

“JAKE JUST PROPOSED,” she wrote.

When a fan questioned if the proposal was a prank (bearing in mind that Jake Paul is part of the notorious prankster Paul fam), she responded, “it’s not. i’m engaged. holy fuck.”

She later posted a photo from Calabasas’ Mercedes-Benz dealer, showing off a gift that Paul had given her in addition to the engagement rock.

“Never give up on your dreams, kids. THANK U BABY,” she wrote.
