It’s a common sentiment, but one that ultimately rings true. You’ve got to be there for yourself in life because at the end of the day all that you’ve really got, is you.
Which is why looking after yourself both mentally and physically is so bloody important. In a world where we’re bombarded with social media comments telling us what we need to look like and what we should be doing, showing a bit of self-love can do wonders.
Just take a page out of Ashlie Bautista‘s book, who hopped on Twitter to remind everyone of a v important message.
“So last night, I wore something that I never thought I would wear,” she wrote. “I’m very insecure but with the help of my amazing friends for hyping me up, I was able to wear it and gained a little bit more confidence in myself.”

You’re beautiful. You inspire me to overcome my self esteem issues and love who I am. Thank you for sharing and being an inspiration and a hero for those who really struggle with our past bullying issues or eating disorders or whatever it may be. You just gave me strength ❤️
