We only just got the first confirmed goss surrounding the upcoming spin-off of trash-but-good-trash TV show Pretty Little Liars, and the news keeps on dropping with today’s announcement that Sofia Carson will have star billing.

Painfully titled Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, the sequel series to the hit ABC Family teen drama has already confirmed returning players Alison (played by Sasha Pieterse) and Mona (played by Janel Parrish).
Carson will appaz play a new character named Ava “a beautiful trendsetting blogger and coder, who strives to be a fashion icon” so, ok, wow pretty much me then?
Sofia is known to that sweet teen demo already due to her portrayal of Evie the daughter of The Evil Queen (LOL) from Snow White, in Disney Channel’s Descendants and is also an IRL musician and singer. Lookit:
The new show is also moving shop from Pennsylvania to the more spoopy forested vibes of Oregon (think the Twilight movies setting) and will be helmed by PLL showrunner Marlene King so it should maintain it’s trashy goodness when it arrives later this year.
