As anyone with a decent internet service would know, Ariana Grande is getting hitched to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson at some point in the foreseeable future which leads us to wonder: Does the traditional Italian gal plan on changing her name as per or keeping it?

As an Arianator myself, I don’t know if stanning Ariana Davidson would be quite the same as stanning our Starbucks goddess.
But good news, fellow Arianators, your girl has announced that she has decided to honour her new bae while keeping her given last name.
Introducing: Ariana Grande-Davidson.
During an interview with radio show Beats 1, the singer says that she wants to hyphenate her name and at some point drop her last names altogether ~professionally~ so it’s just ‘Ariana’ because, as she puts it, the singular name has a ring to it.
“Isn’t that sick?” she said. “I feel like it’s got a ring to it.”
She later backtracks, saying that she wants to hold onto Grande for as long as poss to honour her Grandfather.
“I have to keep Grande because of my grandpa,” she said. “I think of him with everything I do. And he was so proud of our name. I should keep it. Imma keep it. Never mind. We’ll talk later. I have a lot of decisions to make.”
Later in the interview she drops another major bombshell, apparently her real name is Ariana Grande-Butera (???).
Grande reveals that she and her bro Frankie have different dads and therefore have differently hyphenated last names.
