ALERT: Netflix Just Dropped The First Teaser For ’13 Reasons Why’ Season 3

Still reeling from the messed up finale of 13 Reasons Why Season 2? Well prepare to be messed up all over again ‘coz Netflix has just announced that the show is returning for a third season.

The drama series’ official Twitter account just confirmed the news with a cryptic AF 16-second teaser vid, accompanied by the following line:

“What happens now? Season 3 of is coming.

But following the violent events of Season 2 (you can read all about that riiiiiiight HERE), one must wonder, where to next?

Series creator Brian Yorkey is returning as showrunner of the series and in a recent FYC panel, he shared some deets about what the future of the show would look like.

“What happened to Hannah will always be the first clause of the story. The rest of the story is about young people, as so many young people, maybe all young people today (learn) how to heal from the things that have hurt them…to make the world that they want it to be, not just the world they are inheriting…and above all, how to take care of each other.”

Season 3 is set to begin filming later this year, with Yorkey, Joy Gorman, Mandy Teefey, Kristel Laiblin, Tom McCarthy, Selena Gomez and Steve Golin returning as executive producers.

But with the lead character, Hannah Baker (played by Aussie babe Katherine Langford) bowing out of future episodes, will the show lose its energy?

Despite the heavy backlash against the dark content of the series, its been absolutely blowing up in the ratings, so the audience is obvs still there.

According to Nielsenthe second season drew an average minute audience of 2.6 million in the U.S. during the first three days after its debut, with the premiere episode pulling in 6 million viewers in three days.

Stay tuned for more updates on what’s to come for the show that’s so good but so so bad.
