You might have heard about Cincinnati Zoo‘s Fiona the Hippo – she’s got her own book and TV show, after all – but have you seen her fart? No, probably not, but today’s that’s all going to change and you can thank me later (in the comments section, cheers).

Never has a pop-off been so flipping cute. I mean, 38,000+ views don’t lie now, do they? Also, why is this clip so relatable? Oh yeah, because we all pump out sneaky farts while underwater.
Farting Fiona hasn’t had the easiest of runs (no pun intended). She captured our hearts back in January this year, arriving and surprising two months early at just 29 pounds. That’s half the weight of a normal bébé hippo, meaning the zoo’s efforts to aid her to survival were outstanding, to say the least. Now look at her! Farting away!
Farting Fiona’s now weighing in at a solid 500lbs. “Female hippos weigh around 3,000 lbs when fully grown so she’s still got a lot of growing to do but she is headed in the right direction! Early on we didn’t know if this day would ever get here. Thanks to everyone for never giving up on this little (big) nugget!” Cincinatti Zoo said on its Instagram page.
And look, if that’s how Fiona’s able to rip farts underweight, we can’t wait to see what magic she creates fully grown.
