Sydney’s Super Furry Festival Is This W/E So Amend Your Plans For Max Pats

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, my good dudes. The days are longer, the air is sweeter, daylight savings has royally borked up my sleeping pattern again, and ’tis the season for festivals.

The ever-popular event on Sydney‘s animal diary – Super Furry Festival – is back again for this year. Not that kind of furry; think dogs in outrageous costumes, pet races, treasure hunts, and both kitty and bunny cuddle tents for everyone who really wants to own a fluffy baby but can’t because NSW‘s renting laws are not yet as inclusive as Victoria‘s.

This Saturday 14th October at Shannon Reserve in Surry Hills, pets, humans of pets, and animal-adjacent appreciators can spend the day giving and taking lots of belly rubs, have their nails done at the doggo salon, lick a treat from the good mates at Gelato Messina, or dabble in some wholesome Doga – yep, yoga for you and your pooch. Downward dog, my good dudes.

And relax into shavasana…

The festival will also be the stage for a bunch of rescue animal shelters and refuges, so if you’re thinking about getting a new love in your life and you want to give someone a forever home, get your ass over there and meet all the beaut rescue animals.

The fezzy is totally free (unless you wanna be in the raffle or play in the big treasure hunt), but if you register over HERE, you can grab yourself some free (human) treats from the Furry Fest’s mates over at The Carrington.

I’m ready for the freakin’ weekend, hey.

Make sure your ‘lil floof is catwalk-ready with insurance from petinsurance.com.au. Sign up for cover over HERE and cop the first two months for free.
