Protest Puppies Hit The Streets In London To Push For Another Brexit Vote

Hundreds of fed up puppies (and their humans) marched/trotted through the streets of London over the weekend right up to scratch at the doors of UK Parliament, demanding that their humans get a second referendum on the Brexit vote.

Considering they’re unable to actually vote, the four-legged protestors made their presence very known with plenty of extremely witty and very good placards at the Wooferendum, using their Sunday for a big walkies from Waterloo Place up to Parliament Square and then went over to let the big cats in Downing St know that the UK’s separation from the European Union is barking mad.

There were plenty of pups with a lot to woof about, and their humans worried that a hard border between the UK and the rest of Europe will be damaging to the country’s veterinarian industry. It’s reported that about half of Britain‘s registered vets are from abroad, mostly from the EU.

The march route had around 30 ‘pee points’, where pups could relieve themselves on images of UK Prime Minister Theresa May and pro-Brexit politicians Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson.

We all know that the best way to make people perk their ears up and take notice is to use adorable puppies, so here’s some of my absolute favourite protestors from the weekend’s march.

I love them all! So precious! So happy to be outside!

Have you ever seen a Schnauzer so annoyed?

Simple, chic, effective.

A PRECIOUS ANGEL.

Whoever thought up the idea of the designated pee stations deserves a raise, nothing says “I don’t agree with what you’ve done here” in more British ways than by getting your grumpy bulldog to piss on a pollie’s face.

Hopefully after this very good protest march, the big dogs in parliament will paws and think about exactly what effects Brexit will have on the non-voting population – won’t somebody think of the furry children?
