A Bunch Of Guide Pups Will Be Turning The 2018 VAMFF Catwalk Into A Dogwalk

It might be a catwalk, but some of the models at this year’s VAMFF are gonna be dressed to the canines, putting their best paw forward, and wagging their money makers. Dog reference.

For one night only at the 2018 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, a string of extremely hard working Guide Dogs are gonna get to don some extremely special coats done up by some of the biggest names in fashion design, before they hit the runway and show off how good they all look as the braying fashion elite nod their snide approval from the sidelines.

Diamond Dogs is being put on as a charity event to benefit Guide Dogs Australia, with each coat worn by a pooch on the catwalk that night auctioned off after the event has concluded. All proceeds will then benefit the national charity to aid their on-going work with the vision impaired.

And we’re not kidding when we say there’s some big names involved here. The likes of CamillaRomance Was BornElkManning Cartell, and Bul have all signed on to craft dog coats so schmick and fancy there’s only one word to describe them: Fetch.

The VAMFF show is being run on Sunday, March 18th, with two shows going down at 5pm and 8pm respectively. Added bonus, you’ll get to watch the wee stylish pups from the fancy AF confines of the Ballroom at Melbourne’s Park Hyatt.

If you’re keen to check a bunch of pups do a fashion show (honestly, who wouldn’t be keen for that), tickets are a cool $50 and are on-sale now via Ticketek.

But if you’re feeling particularly indulgent, for $100 you can score a VIP front row ticket that’ll not only get you the closest, almost-within-patting-distance view of the dogs, but a buncha precious bevingtons, canapes, and a gift bag as well.

A front row seat at a dog show at VAMFF and ample access to finger food? Sounds like a few good boys and girls are getting human treats that night.

All ticket info is available now via Ticketek. Get involved, mates.
