Look, I’m sorry for what I’m about to do. I truly am. But this is IMPORTANT because this very good boy deserves a forever home.
On the weekend, the RSPCA ran their Clear The Shelters drive – where folks could go along to their local shelter and pick up a new furry friend for $29.
It was a bloody hit, let me tell you. I got a message from a friend saying that she read our coverage of the adoption drive and couldn’t help herself. She now owns a two-year-old black and white moggy named Spike.
ANYWAY, in Canberra, the shelter clear-out went so well that they found forever homes for everyone. Well, almost everyone because for some unGODLY reason, this precious handsome boy did not get picked up, and is still the shelter’s most eligible bachelor.
For Christ’s sake, Canberrans, someone PLEASE give Cooper here a home.
He’s a very handsome and totally lovely Australian bulldog X boxer and oh God would you look at those sad eyes? How can you say no to him?
I’m calling you all to arms right now. I want to see Cooper in a forever home by the end of the week. Please hit me up if you’re the one to adopt this very good boy. Email me, tweet me, whatever. I just need to know that he’s given a home because this is obliterating my heart.
There were also a rooster, a silky hen, and a PIGEON left at the centre after the weekend. A pigeon. Yep.
