500+ Border Collie Pups & Their Humans Broke A World Record In SA Yesterday

If you’ve ever wanted to see what 500+ Border Collies looks like, then go no further my friend because you have absolutely come to the right place.

Yesterday Willaston Oval in South Australia became the sacred ground of a record-breaking amount of Very Good Dogs, as the South Australia Border Collies Association gathered with a goal to have the most amount of Border Collies in one place at the same time.

How many showed up, you ask? Mate, according to the Border Collies Owners of South Australia (BOSCA) the final number came in at 576.

Can you imagine the sound of over 500 pups borking all at once? Can you even picture what would happen if a siren went off somewhere? Lord.

Look at this avid Adelaide Crows supporter, looking very smart in their guernsey.

And if you really wanted to hear the sound of over 500 dogs in the one place well, here you go.

Unfortunately Guinness World Records don’t recognise breed-specific records, so the massive turnout is an “unofficial” record.

Kudos to BOSCA, who raised a solid $6000 for charity and smashed the previous record of 513 pooches, (held by Dr. Katrina Warren in 2013) out of the park.

Please just take a moment to look at all these very good boys and girls and OH THAT ONE WITH THE FRAMED PICTURE OF ANOTHER COLLIE. I’m weeping.

Happy Monday, your day has officially peaked.
