I know we’ve all been waiting to see if there’s any kind of ~love triangle~ happening within the cast of Stranger Things (not looking at you, Dacre Montgomery, but also definitely looking at you), and folks, it’s happened – though it’s not exactly the kind of salacious fight for someones’ heart that you’re thinking of here.
It’s two grown men fighting over the love and adoration of a tiny dog.
In an interview with Mashable, David Harbour (you’d know him as Chief Jim Hopper) gave the deets about the on-set tug-o-war that he and Joe Keery (aka Steve Harrington) had with a small Pomeranian owned by one of the make up artists.
You’d know this pom – it’s the star of *that* meme with Joe Keery, where he’s cradling the pooch in one hand and holding a glass of bubbly in the other. It’s me. It’s you. It’s all of us at a boozy Sunday brunch when we’ve had one too many bevs and not enough eggs benedict.

So there’s the floofer in question. In the interview, Hopper – sorry, David – said that Joe would send him photos of the pup who David had “fallen madly in love with” in attempts to razz him up about it. Clearly, it worked.
I fell madly in love with this dog and put a picture on Instagram, and then Joe would text me pictures of him and the dog in the makeup trailer, and I would get so jealous and mad and rageful.
All fair in love and war, of course. So I guess the big question here is for the Pomeranian pupper – who do you even choose?
Tbh this is the best kind of love triangle you want to be finding yourself in.
