A girl on TikTok has exposed how Florence Pugh‘s dad and Zach Braff look identical and now I will never look at the couple the same.
If you weren’t aware Florence and Zac are in a relationship and have a 21-year age gap. Which is totally fine, but also, it’s very unfortunate that he happens to look just like her dad too.
@moominenigma pointed out the pair’s uncanny resemblance and holy shit, it’s everything – the nose, the eyes, the teeth. They look like they could be brothers.

God, they really both have that awkward nerd-boy smile and downward sloping eyes.
BUT it actually gets worse. I found a picture of Clinton holding Florence when she was a little girl, and um, he looks even more similar to Zach here.

The comments were quick to jump on the Sigmund Freud bandwagon…you know, the guy who thinks everyone secretly wants to bang their opposite-sex parent. @moominenigma even used the hashtag #Freud on her TikTok vid.
“It’s painful that Freud always wins,” one commenter wrote.
“Not the Electra Complex,” another wrote.
Zach and Florence were first spotted together in April 2019, and since then people have criticised their age gap.
Speaking to comedian Sue Perkins on her podcast, An Hour or So With, Pugh said the negative comments about her made her feel like shit.
“I’ve always found it funny, how I can be good enough for people to watch my work, and support my work, and pay for my tickets, and I’m old enough to be an adult and pay taxes, but I’m not old enough to know who I should and should not have sex with,” she said.
“Once again, [it’s] making a young woman feel like shit for no reason. I think I did feel shit for a while about admitting that, and then I thought, ‘How ridiculous is that?’”
Personally, I think this is all an unhappy coincidence. I don’t think Florence went “hm yas, I want this guy because he looks like my dad.” I think the fairer assumption is that a lot of middle-aged white men look the same. Sorry, not sorry.
