There I was last night, having a good ol’ scroll through TikTok, when I found myself on the #foodie section. An ideal category for me as I do consider myself to be a foodie and all that.
But in the midst of all fun, quirky and informative TikToks about food came a bizarre one that I just cannot unsee.
A popular beauty TikToker by the name of Sal -The Beauty King shared his, erm, shall we say ~interesting~ beauty hack?
In the video, he uses a McDonald’s cheeseburger to apply makeup and that’s certainly one way to go.

The video begins by showing him scoffing down two burgers, ya know, the intended purpose of the McDonald’s cheeseburger.
Next up, we see him applying makeup and blending it with the burger.
Listen, I’m not here to judge, I’m just here to report on the news and this is some hard-hitting stuff, I tell ya.
But not to worry mates, he doesn’t waste all the McDonald’s cheeseburgers he buys by using them to apply makeup, he also chomps on them, just like the rest of us.
In another video, he shares his Macca’s cheeseburger-eating strategy, which involves adding the fries and BBQ sauce onto the burger before eating. An oldie but a goodie.

I’d be interested to know the ratio of how many McDonald’s cheeseburgers are wasted on makeup (when there are brushes RIGHT there), and how many of them are eaten and enjoyed.
Again, I’m not here to Macca’s shame. You do you, boo.
