Sick New TikTok Series Invites You Into The Kitchens Of A Bunch Of Your Fave Local Stars

Legit, one of the only things that’s gotten me through this wretched, wretched year was the endless entertainment served up on TikTok. And since we’re smack bang in the middle of the silly szn, your fave app has gifted us with some more entertainment and I guarantee you it’s right up your fkn alley.

TikTok has debuted a new series called Celebrity Dinner With Me LIVE which invites us into the kitchens of a bunch of local celebs on their TikTok accounts over summer.

We had a lil chat with one of the celebrity guests, the Aunty Donna legends, to get a taste of what’s to come.

What made you decide to take part in this exciting new series on TikTok?

Good manners. TikTok contacted us and said “Please would you be so kind as to be the very first guest in our TikTok live series Celebrity Dinner with Me?” The key word there was ‘please’. If they had not said ‘please’ we would have DDoS’d their platform into oblivion but they did say ‘please’ so we prepared some delicious bruschetta instead.

How would you rate your cooking skills?

Let me put it this way… Our cooking skills are pretty ‘cooked’.

I think your fans already know the answer to this, but what’s your fave Christmas dish?

Little bit of pud.

(For context we released a mildly popular video called ‘Always Room for Christmas Pud’. This question was referring to this video so we responded with a reference from the video.)

And lastly, what can we expect from the episode?

Lots of normal things that you see in regular every day cooking videos and nothing fucked whatsoever. No gross mess on the floor, no cool dancers and no men who have reached the end of their tether from constant self promotion for their Netflix Show Aunty Donna’s Big Ol’ House of Fun.

Catch old m8 Shannon Noll’s ep tonight and queen Courtney Act’s on Wednesday.
